I had the opportunity recently to create some arrangements and bouquets for the wedding of a super lovely couple Lani and Dave who got married in October. They gave me a lot of creative freedom and encouragement for which I am very grateful.

I've been playing with the idea of layering images from drawings and photos, these have been kept pretty simple which I like.

As a kid I loved decorating the house at Christmas - we had a big chest full of decorations. Red paper lanterns, garlands and lots of homemade fabric and wooden decorations. Last year I made little Christmas spiders to put a tree of Melaleuca brances. This years tree is a bunch of sticks with succulents and bits and bobs attached.

I am always on the hunt for interesting vases and vessels for flowers. I need to frequent Op shops and garage sales more to start getting a decent collection.
